About Evolution Medicine: Meditations
After practicing yoga and meditation for more than 30 years I believe I’m in a place where I can share insights for others. As a result, this publication serves to help you find peace of mind and discover tools for moving forward as the ground under us shifts. The process requires a kind of self awareness which invites a space (doing the work) to liberate oneself from outmoded thought/feelings that limit our flexion of (human) gifts. This method I live by and share here so you may transform your own external and internal experiences…. from within. Despite the world’s turbulence, I view our primary locus of control as internal.
Short essays and recordings here are drawn from my observations of the healing process combined with personal insights. After a few decades of this, I still don’t have many answers but feel practiced and prepared to walk through this world to hold a space for others. I invite listeners to explore self-inquiry— known as Svadhyaya— which offers wise and meaningful action, our most reliable (inner) tool for knowing self, determining timing and best action.
The title, "Meditations," reflects action and intention within a contemplative lens, I aim to uplift everyone’s quality of life. Here, I explore how we may evolve and adapt as human beings as the world evolves hastily.
While this Substack isn’t very sexy (doesn’t sell fear, anger or outrage) it does invite you to cultivate sovereignty. Once you take this action, it in turn, can impact your friends, colleagues, family, customers, neighbors, etc. While the posts appear simple- they are not, expressions here are layered- go for it and let them traverse your consciousness.
Meditations and writings are kept short to help you refocus your attention, to encourage less ‘thinking’ and more ‘doing’.
